The history and spirit of Aliz'Air

Aliz'Air is one of the oldest ULM schools in France, originally created by Dominique Dermenghem. A hang-gliding pioneer in France, he was also a test pilot for the very first ULMs to arrive in France in 1978 (Soarmaster SK2), and then for the first weight-shift trikes. Let's not forget that flying a weight-shift trike represents the original quintessence of ULM.

Since its creation, Aliz'Air has trained over 300 pilots. Thanks to the arrival of Alain Plancq, the continuity and transmission of this historic weight-shift trike training are ensured.

The flight school

Our ULM instructors are committed to sharing their passion with you and introducing you to the basics of controls. For those who wish to go further, our school offers comprehensive training to obtain your ULM pilot's license. You will learn the basics of meteorology, piloting, and air navigation, essential for safe flight.
